I'm back lol

Ummm, sooo, I moved. My old senora was basically crazy...she gave us ( me and my roommate) a hard about everything...using tooo much water...having too many clothes to wash. And then she always yelled at us for not eating enough. She wanted to basically be dirty and enormous when we got back to the US. lol So it didn't work out. She yelled at Maureen for a couple thing like the water thing..... and then she called school one day and was like the girls are too loud at night and I can't sleep well just so y'all know never go to Morocco because you will come back with the worst stomach problems ever. It felt like contractions basically every five minutes, it was horrible besides the other thing diarrhea eeeeek it was awful sooo THANK GOODNESS that is all over. So she we were basically going to the bathroom all night and that's why she was pissed and when we got home from Morocco it was 1100 at night soooo I couldn't go to sleep right away hence the big move..... And then this is great.... we get all of our luggage ( tons of luggage) in the lobby of the hotel at 630 on time and we wait 2 and half hours for the stupid cab that was never comingggggggg we don't know our new address or her phone number our school is closed we dont know who to call so finally we like ring the bell of our old senora and she's surprised obvously that were still waiting for the cab so somehow she finally gets the housing director's number we call Ubal and tell her we've been waiting and she calls the cab company when the cab driver finally gets there he's so nice and he tells us the pick up was arranged for THE NEXT DAY!!!! Gah so around 9 we get to our new house we've done like a 180 experience Josefina is so nice to us doesn't force feed us we had so much laundry because our old senora didn't do all our laundry from Morocco soo we apologized for that and she said don't worry about it the flat is really really nice and I have internet sometimes lol YAY!!!!!!! so there's an update I feel like I should go back an update y'all that happened in sept/oct but I don't know lol soooo much we'll see what happens I have a literature paper due on wednesday on a spanish poem not loooking forward to that at all grrrrr sooo love ya!

Sunday First Day in Valencia ...MEETING MY HOST FAMILY GAH!

After Madrid, on Sunday we traveled to Valencia...on the way there we stopped in Alarcon.... a little city on a hilltop with these old ruins....there´s pics on fb.....and then we finally finally got to Valencia ----our real destination....and so we arrive and we´re all getting off the bus meeting our families and Maureen, my roommate, and I are like where is our host family...did they forget about us? :( but our "tour guide"/activities director, Miguel...was like well I guess you chicas are staying with my mom and we´re like ahhhh i guess so lol so he takes us to his mom´s house....Senora Maria Carmen Legazpi Morales ..... DOES NOT KNOW ANY ENGLISH? LOL That was funnnn Maureen sort of knows spanish she just took spanish 2 last semester soooo she understands quite a bit and can speak a little bit ummmm me on the other hand Hola, adios, si, gracias..that´s my extent at the moment haven´t spoken any spanish in 5 years soooo she´s like showing us our rooms, own rooms, and the bathroom and out closets and she´s talking to me and Miguel is translating for me and then she starts yelling at him and me ---she doesn´t want him to translate but she doesn´t realize I don´t know any spanish lol ---that was interesting....

We live in an apartment building on the first floor.... she has a small kitchen, no microwave, dryer, just washing machine.... my room, maureen´s room, her room, her daughter´s room (the other Maria Carmen goes to college now but when she comes home on the weekend or for breaks - she has her own room) ummm living room/tv room/dining room all in one two little terraces and then another huge terrace off the kitchen

for dinner I don´t remember what we had but it was probably fish fried or chicken fried with onions maybe or peppers or mushrooms or spinach with a salad in olive oil with water and yogurt for dessert..... umm probably something like that

soooo heading to spanish art class -----probably going to go on a tour somewhere to a cathedral i think ---awesome class but 3 hours ...a little difficult for me to stay awake

I will try to do some more updating later but I´m sure as all of you know ---basically no internet unless I hold my computer in a certain position on the terrace soooo we´ll see what happens

UMMMM BIG CATCH UP TIME

So I have been a month on Friday ---craziness. It´s been so busy. Sometimes I´m like ooooooh I´m just in Spain...and then sometimes I´M like I´M IN SPAIN!!!! This is awesome! So far, not toooo much homesickness but it´s starting to settle in now that I have time to think and like relax.....But I guess I should update this thingy once in awhile I´m gunna try to recap the last month we´ll see how far I get.....

First and second day of Spain

Hey everyone!

First day was crazy traveling about (do not bring a lot of clothes because it sucks if you do lol) and then we checked into Hostal Aguilar... and had dinner later and had paella and steak and papas fritas.. and then we went out to a bunch of bars...

Second day we got up way too early and took a big bus to Toledo ( said Toe-lay-do, not Toe-lee-do) :) and we had a great tour guide, Fernando he showed us around Toledo. We went to this place where we saw this master put gold thread into steel. I bought earring that we're done by the apprentices and not the master. We went to this huggggge cathedral. The front gate had a huge clock from like 200 years ago and it was called the clock gate... :) ummm just wanted to write down what I saw because I wont remember and then we went inside and there were bishops buried inside their hats were up high and high over their graves. In the sacristy, there were paintings from Greco and Goya. One of Greco's first paintings were there. And then we basically had lunch which was a plate of pasta, and then a chicken wing with papas fritas... and then we went around on our own and bought postcards, and present for morgan and clip...

And then we all took huge naps on the bus back and then we packed up because we're still in Madrid and tomorrow we're actually going to Valencia and meeting up our host family and my roommate is cool and our hostal is like a hotel not that bad. After packing up we went to dinner drank some wines and had tapas which is appetizers that everyone eats together.... and now I'm typing and we're gunna go out for un noche el blanco i'm probably saying it wrong but it like huge shows at every corner.....
